April 14, 2009                                                                          Public Zoning Hearing

A public hearing was held to hear comments about amending the zoning classification for Patriot Renewable Fuels, LLC property in the Village of Annawan. 

Present at the meeting were Mayor Franks, Sturtewagen, Gustafson, Curran, DeRycke, Fulton, VanKerrebroeck. Also present were Ron and Kathy Foes, Francis Sierens, Harold and Pauline Wildemuth, and a representative of Patriot Renewable Fuels. 

Concerns were heard about what would happen to the properties next to Patriot. Mayor Franks told them that no change would be made to their property. Even though the Patriot property would be zoned in the industrial classification if the land is farmed it would be zoned in the agricultural classification.  

Hearing no further comments the public meeting was adjourned.
