Excellent!  The water department has won the Fluoride Award 9 years in a row and the sewer has won the Plant of the Year Award in the past.

Information About Our Water/Sewer System -
Our sewer plant was constructed in 1980 with a vision for the future.  Our capacity is 165,000 gallons per day and at this point we are averaging approximately 85,000 per day.  We have a 265,000 gallons per day capacity in the water department with a current average of 80,000 per day. 

Water/Sewer Hook Up Fees and Rates-
Hook up fees for water/sewer is $100.00 ($50 for water, $50 for sewer) for new home construction.  The new user shall pay for all labor and expenses incurred, including but not limited to, twelve inch (12") stainless steel clamp, compression corporation valve, K copper lines, curb valve and box connected to the water main, curb shutoff valve and other attachments as approved by the Superintendent of the Water Department (Ord. 212, 5-14-1996; amd. 1998 Code).

Payment of Water/Sewer bills -
Meter reading, billing procession and collection is all done by Village employees.  All bills are sent the first week of each month, and are due on the 26th of each month.  You can pay for water/sewer bill either through the mail, at the bank, or drop it off at the village office, either directly to the Village Clerk or through the mail slot on the door.
