The People of Annawan

From 0-100 (and plus sometimes), Annawan is fortunate to have a wide variety of "characters" who not only reside here, but also come to visit.  There is always something going on here.  Below is a few photos of Annawan at work, play and promoting our town!  

 



Jim Oberweis stopped in at Burbon's Place in Annawan to meet and greet potential voters.  He is looking to fill the position vacated by Dennis Hastert.  Here he is pictured with Jay Wilson of Wilson Auctioneering.


Coach Wayne Brown, Heath Rakestraw, Joe Sierens, and Dylan Rakestraw get ready for the chili supper hosted by the boys basketball team.  This annual event is a fundraiser for the program.
